Billy and Margot Carrot, Apple and Banana training treats

Hi readers! A while ago I reviewed the Apple and Strawberry training treats from Billy and Margot, so I thought it was time to review the Carrot, Apple and Banana versions as Angel loves them (as do friends dogs).

What are they?
They are natural treats made of oats with apple, carrot and banana for all dogs over 14 weeks of age.

What is in them?
The ingredients are: Oats, Barley, Linseed (Flaxseed), Seaweed, Chicken oil, Brewers yeast and Cinnamon. All of the ingredients are beneficial to your dogs health.

How much are they?
They are £2.69 from Pets At Home

What do I think?
These are really healthy dog treats and aren't too expensive for the quantity you get. The only downside is that they can only have 10 a day so you would still need to use kibble or another type of treat alongside them when training your dog.

I hope you enjoyed this review!

Mutneys Professional Dog Shampoo Calming Lavender

Hi readers! Mutneys kindly sent me a couple of their shampoos to try with Angel.

What is it?
It is a professional dog shampoo. It has lavender in that: calms and relaxes, soothes the skin, reduces inflammation, eases dandruff and can promote hair growth. It has natural lavender oil in that is a natural anti-fungal, anti-bacterial and anti-itch.

How much does it cost?
It is: £6 for 250ml, £8 for 500ml and £29.75 for 5litres.

What do I think?
This is great as it makes your dog smell lovely. Angel has some patches on her legs that are losing hair so I am going to try it too see if it helps her hair to grow back.

Would I buy it again?
I would buy it again if my current bottle ran out.

Mutneys Professional Dog Shampoo Coconut for silky coats

Hi readers, Mutneys kindly sent me a couple of their shampoos to try with Angel. The coconut one is my personal favourite so I decided to review it first.

What is it?
It is a shampoo for giving your dog a lovely soft coat. It is specifically made for silky coats but can be used as a general purpose shampoo as well. It is made with natural oils and essences so it won't remove the natural oils your dogs coat needs.

How much does it cost?
It is: £6 for 250ml, £8 for 500ml and £18.75 for 5litres.

What do I think?
This shampoo is brilliant! Angels coat was so soft and still is 3 days later even after being in a river and being rinsed with water. It isn't very expensive which is great.

Would I buy it again?
I will be buying more at the National Pet Show and then if I need more I will.

Pets At Home adult rabbit nuggets

Hi readers! I thought I would review the nuggets that I feed my rabbits.

What are pets at home  adult rabbit nuggets?
Pets At Home adult rabbit nuggets are dry nuggets for adult rabbits.

What is in the nuggets?
Composition: Alfalfa; Soyabean hulls * ; Wheatfeed; Wheat; Barley; Oatfeed; Soya oil * ; Minerals; Salt; Dicalcium phosphate; Short Chain Fructo-oligosaccharides (0.2%); Mint & Rosemary; Methionine *Produced from genetically modified soya.

How much are they?
They are £5.99 for 4kg.

What do I think?
Personally I think these nuggets are not the healthiest for rabbits over a year as the main ingredient is Alfalfa which is not good for older rabbits but if you can't afford more expensive nuggets (supreme, burgess, woodlands, rosewood etc) they are a good choice. My rabbits really like them and have been on them for about a year and are healthy.

What do the rabbits think?
"these nuggets are very tasty and we look forward to having them every day"

How much should you feed?
I feed my rabbits 2 and half cups cups between them once a day alongside hay. They weigh 2.5kg each (well, they did when they went to the vet for their vaccinations!)

I would recommend these nuggets for rabbits under 1 year old.

Bunnies That Lunch Subscription Box

Hi readers! Bunnies That Lunch kindly sent me their "Fall Forage" box to review.

What is it?
It is a monthly rabbit subscription box that is also suitable for guinea pigs. Each month has a variety of toys and treats for you rabbit or guinea pig.

How much does it cost?
It costs £15 a box for a one off. £14 a month for a 3 month subscription. £13.50 a month for a 6 month subscription.

What was in the "fall forage" box?
The fall forage box contained:
A soft cuddly broccoli
Nature first raspberry and plantain mix
A natural pom pom
Dried apple and pear
Bunnies that lunch triple nibble pack
It was all in a lovely Bunnies That Lunch cardboard box (the guinea pigs will have the box to play in!)
I did put my products in glass jars for easy storage (see photos)

What do I think?
This is a brilliant box for Rabbits and Guinea pigs and it isn't ridiculously expensive unlike other rabbit subscription boxes.

Would I buy it again?
I will definitely buy more of these in the future. They are a great combination of toys and treats for guinea pigs and rabbits.

Halti dog headcollar MEDIUM

Hi readers! I recently got a halti for Angel as she is getting quite strong and tends to pull a lot on walks.

What is it?
It is a stop pulling headcollar for all different sizes of dog. They are made by the company of animals. They were originally created in 1979.

How does it work?
It works but having control over the dogs head. This is very good for dogs that have strong chest muscles or were originally bred to pull (like huskies).

How much does it cost?
The medium is £14 from Pets At Home.

What do I think?
This is really useful for dogs who pull a lot. It is great for when walking down hills or when Angel is really excited for her early morning walk.

Would I buy it again?
I would only buy it again if Angels current one broke or if in the future I have another dog.
