Hi readers, today I am reviewing Finacard: Papelit small animal litter. Finacard kindly sent me a free sample to review.
The Product
Papelit is a non clumping small pet and cat litter by Finacard. It is paper based and dust extracted so perfect for small pets.
How To Use
I used a thin layer as the pellets are really absorbent.
My Review
I really liked this litter and used it in all the piggies litter trays. It is nicer than wooden cat litter as it is softer but is slightly harder than some other small pet pellet litters on the market. It is non-clumping, so safe if your small pets like to nibble their bedding(Maisie.....).
The Piggies Review
"Whee loved this litter even though it is slightly hard, but our hooman put shredded paper on top which whee love to snuggle in!"
Overall Opinion
I would definitely recommend this litter for small pets as well as cats. It is a brilliant litter for all small animals etc.
I hope you will try this litter,
Book Worm :)
I review products for guinea pigs, ponies, goats, sheep, donkeys and dogs. I do get sent some products by companies however I do also buy some however all opinions are my own.

Pellet Bed: Pet Pro and Pet Max
Hi readers, Today I am reviewing Pellet beds pet bedding. Pellet bed kindly sent me a sample of each of their small pet beddings.
PET-PRO
PET-PRO
I feel that the Pet Pro Miscanthus clumping pellets aren't actually suitable for guinea pigs and other small animals, as small pets sometimes try to eat their bedding, and the clumping effect could cause them to choke. That seems to me to be a health risk. However, for cats and larger pets they are fine.
PET-MAX
The Pet max straw based non clumping pellets are perfect for guinea pigs and other small animals. They are very absorbent and work well in the litter trays.
OVERALL OPINION
My overall opinion is that the Miscanthus pellets are brilliant for cats and larger animals and the straw ones are better for small animals.
I would highly recommend Pet-Max for small pets and Pet-Pro for larger animals like cats.
I hope you will try these beddings,
Book Worm :)

Wilko Timothy hay
Hi readers, Today I am reviewing Wilko Timothy hay.
The Product
Wilko Timothy hay is a hay (obviously) for rabbits and rodents.
My review
I think this hay is brilliant as it is well compressed in the bag and isn't dusty. As well as that I'm not allergic to it :) It smells sweet and the piggies love it.
The Piggies Review
Bramble, Patches and Maisie.
"Whee think it taste really good. Whee prefer it to the meadow hay rolls"
The price
This Timothy hay, is a lot cheaper than the Pets at Home Timothy hay, at only £2 instead of £4 for 1kg.
I hope you will try this hay with your small pets,
Book Worm :)

Back-2-Nature
Hi readers, Back-2-Nature recently sent me a free bag of their small animal litter to review.
Thanks Back 2 Nature :)
The product
Back-2-Nature is a paper based small animal litter. The paper used is 99% recycled and all the packaging is biodegradable, great for the planet! It is suitable for: Rabbits, Rodents, Birds, Snakes and Ferrets.
How to use
It says to use 1-2 inches but I think a thinner layer is fine if you clean the litter tray out regularly (I clean it out twice a week). If possible spot cleaning once a day would be good.
What the Piggies think
"Whee like Back-2-nature because it is better for the environment and it doesn't break up like wood based litter"
Overall opinion
I would recommend this to people who are allergic to wood/straw/hay based animal bedding's. It is a bit pricey but is definitely worth it as after doing 4 litter tray changes + sprinkling it over the piggies other bedding's I still have half a bag left!
I hope you will try this bedding,
Book Worm :)
P.S. Next review is on Finacards papelit.

NEW! Oxbow Pure Comforts bedding
Hi readers, Oxbow ( Oxbow is a pet food and bedding company for small pets based in the USA) very kindly sent me a free sample of their new Pure Comforts bedding to review.
What is it?
Oxbow pure comforts bedding is made from never printed on paper and feels really soft unlike wood shavings. It is similar to Care fresh but better as it is not brightly coloured. It also isn't dusty so makes a great bedding for guinea pigs with respiratory problems.
What does it look like?

What colours does it come in?
It comes in Natural(what I got), White and Oxbow blend which looks like a mixture of both.
Where can you get it?
What do Bramble and Patches think of it?
Whee think its brilliant! It doesn't smell so whee don't have to put our little paws over our noses. Our hooman cleans out our litter trays every other day which means whee don't smell too often.
How much does it cost?
In the UK it costs £10.99 for the size bag I got.
How much do you have to use?
You really don't have to use that much as it is very absorbent, around 3cm in a litter tray should do.
My verdict
I think is brilliant for guinea pigs and other small rodents like Hamsters and Gerbils as it isn't dusty or sharp at all. I think it is a bit pricy for the amount you get but is worth it for happy comfy guinea pigs. I would defiantly recommend it to other guinea pig owners.
I hope you find my review useful,

Puppy Duluxe Training Pads
Hi readers, I recently was doing some research into guinea pig bedding and I found out quite a few people use Puppy pads for their piggies.
I went to my local Home Bargains and bought a 14 Pack for £1.99 to try them out with my 3 piggies. After one night I needed to change it as they did use it.
I have decided I wont use these all the time as they need changing every day where as litter trays can be changed 1-2 times a week.
They have a plastic bottom so they will protect the floors of the hutches and the shed. They are really big but I cut them into quarters for under hides etc.
I would defiantly recommend these to anyone looking for a cheaper bedding.
Another good thing is they don't smell which is good if you have a large group of piggies.
I also put a cloths on top that cost 69p for 6 in home bargains that I would also recommend.

Beco Bowls By Beco Things
Hi readers, Today I'm reviewing Beco Bowls.
I use these bowls for all my piggies and they are great. They're made from bamboo and rice husks so they're eco friendly. They come in: Pink, Blue, Green and Natural and Medium, Large, Small, Extra small and Extra Extra small.
Dips in the sides help older and baby pets get their food out easily. I have the Blue, pink and natural ones in Extra small.
What do you do when you want to get rid of it? Easy! Put it in your compost bin and it will biodegrade and make some nice compost for your garden. If you don't have a compost bin just put it in your rubbish bin, Green bin or recycling bin depending on your local rules.
These are easy to wash if they get dirty which is good.
I hope you will try Beco Bowls By Beco Things,

Snowflake duluxe wooden cat litter
Hi readers, today I'm reviewing Snowflake duluxe wooden cat litter as I recently started using it for all of my Guinea pigs in their litter trays.
Good things
Doesn't smell.
Once they try to eat it they realise is doesn't taste like pellets!
It isn't messy.
You can burn it if you let it dry.
If you use fleece it doesn't stick.
They can't kick it out of the litter tray.
It's really cheap(example Home bargains £1.19 for 5 litres).
Easy to source.
Edit: They now 15litre bags for £2.99 in Home bargains.
Bad things
It breaks up when wet into a powder.
Hard to scoop as it is really heavy.
As mentioned above it is really heavy.
When it breaks down it sticks to the litter tray.
I would defiantly recommend this litter for Guinea pigs as it is quite cheap.
I hope you will try this litter and go to:How to litter train your Guinea pig,

The Guinea Pig Magazine
Hi readers, today I am reviewing The Guinea Pig Magazine.
If you have been on my blog Guinea Pigs R Cute you will know my piggies(Bramble and Patches) have been in issue 30. I only recently started getting this magazine but I absolutely love it! It has useful care articles and always has cute guinea pigs! A good thing about this magazine is its always different and very interesting. Another good thing is that if you miss an issue you can buy back issues! I often sit holding one of my piggies to read it!

Bunny Buisness The Grove Hutch
Hi readers, this is the hutch I have for Maisie my lone female guinea pig. Mine is secondhand at £50 but brand new ones cost around £70-£100 depending where you get it from.
It says on Amazon that its a rabbit hutch but when you see it in person its absolutely tiny but it does have room for 2 baby guinea pigs or 1 adult guinea pig. It would also be suitable for a Netherlands dwarf rabbit. For its price it is quite expensive but if you have a lone piggie it would be perfect. A downside is that the ramp isn't hinged and there is no way of blocking of the ramp and run at night (I use an ice cream tub!!). Another downside is that because the doors are so low down you have to be careful that they don't run out but it would make a good inside hutch if needed.
My rating is 8 out of 10 due to the ramp problems and its size.
I hope you find this review useful,
Book Worm:)
